The yungmash mission

Our mission is to provide affordable, accessible mentoring and coaching to individuals and groups of young adults, using multiple platforms and methods.

This includes access to free support from trained peer mentors and further access to individual and group neurocoaching sessions through a network of highly qualified neurocoaches and facilitators, available internationally and in multiple languages.

“We rise by lifting others” embodies everything we stand for. Our evidence-based neurocoaching provides young people between the ages of 18-25 with the guidance to feel empowered, which in turn allows you to become the best version of yourself. We want every single one of you to feel and believe in your own self-worth and the power that’s within you. You all have it in you, so let us help you discover it.

By building yourself up through our mentoring, you empower yourself to discover your strengths, your creativity, your drive and your ability to help others empower themselves too. We’re building up a world-wide community of empowered young people to bring a little more YungMash energy into the world.

Why is it important for mental health?

Lack of self-confidence leads to doubt, insecurity and high levels of anxiety, the likes of which some 50 years ago were only seen in psychiatric patients. A neurocoach will help you recognise and realise your own skill set and teach you to be self-reliant no matter what obstacles you face.

What are the proven results and benefits?

When you deeply relax and become aware of the thoughts and feelings constantly flowing through your mind – your Central Executive Network, CEN – you interrupt all of the worries, fears, doubts and uncertainties that are constantly being generated by the most imaginative part of your brain called the Default Network.

By staying in the relaxed mindful awareness – either alone or even better to do it with a friend – you stimulate one of the most important areas in your brain, the Salience Network. Not only is this the neurological centre for intuition, empathy, compassion, kindness, and self-love, your Salience Network, when stimulated creates a unique balance of all your brain networks.

This is the neuroscientific definition of optimal psychological health. It is your inner therapist, your inner wisdom, and it needs to be exercised when you are young because it is also part of your brain which takes a full 30 years to develop.
